Principal Dragline Engineer – Brisbane
Position Overview
We are seeking a Principal Mining Engineer with at least 10 years of open-cut experience, including extensive dragline experience, for a short-term project role based in Brisbane. The ideal applicant will be results-driven and passionate about dragline optimisation.

What you’ll be doing may include
- Mine design using Vulcan and Deswik
- Producing plans and reserves
- Producing mine schedules using Spry
- Scenario comparison
- Cost modelling
Key Requirements
- Tertiary qualification and experience in Mining Engineering
- Strong mine design and scheduling skills
- Proficiency with mining software: Spry, Vulcan, Deswik and 3D-Dig
- Excellent communication, teamwork and time management
- Full working rights in Australia
